How can I set myself to be notified when a date is announced for the auction? I've met Stan Sakai a few times and I would really like to help. He's been super nice to me and even gave me a free poster. I'm not rich, but I'd love to make that the most profitable free poster he's ever given away.

Do we send original art to the address on the form, what if our image was done digitally, could we just email and have you print it out for the auction?
Could a book of art be printed ala the baltimore comic con tribute book of the donated art? That might be a good offering to encourage the masses to donate.
Hello! In an effort to signal boost this, we at Radio Comix have posted about it on our front page. However, we'd like permission to also post the donation flyer and the CAPS "help the Sakais" skyscraper. Would there be any issues with that?
Hi, the Artist Comic Collective of Las Vegas would love to help with original art for the auction, i'm getting together the available artist of the ACC to help out the Sakai family. If there is a deadline id love to know so we can have it all done before then. I might be inking and coloring many of the pieces. Also is a one forum for all or one for each we send in? Good luck and best wishes!
I wouldn't count on PayPal getting this "straightened out". They have a history of acting bizarrely towards fundraisers like this. I suspect they've frozen the involved account, and are giving unhelpful reasons for it? Probably saying it somehow violates their terms of agreement? I've seen this movie before, on regretsy.com.
Word came last night that Stan's grandson passed away in his sleep. I cannot imagine what the family is going through right now.
I have put the call out to the Furry Fandom, which Stan has long supported. Whatever we can do to try to help him through these rough times, we're willing to do it.
Another choice is creating a http://www.youcaring.com/ fundraiser, their platform seems to be very good for this and they accept other forms of payment beyond Paypal.

DeleteHave you tried setting up a GoFundMe page ? Their donation format is much easier to use and for people to find.
